Who doesn’t love tacos? This taco seasoning took years of trial and error, but I think I have found

Gringo Taco Seasoning
The best damn taco seasoning north of the border.
Equipment
- 1 Bowl
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Chili Powder Use dark chili powder if you can find it.
- 1 tsp Ground Cumin
- 1 tsp Kosher Salt Do not use table salt.
- 1 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika You can use regular paprika if you don't have smoked.
- 1/2 tsp Granulated Garlic Try not to use garlic powder.
- 1/2 tsp Onion Powder
- 1/2 tsp Jalapeno Powder
- 1/2 tsp Mexican Oregano This can be tough to find; I buy mine on Amazon.
- 1 tsp Cayenne Pepper Optional – this will add a kick of heat.
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients well in a bowl and place in an air tight container. This rub should stay fresh for 6 months in a cool dark place.
Notes
This taco seasoning is not too hot. No one in my family can handle hot food, so I tend to make things a bit more on the tame side.
